Scotland is my favourite holiday destination and I bought this kit from a wonderful craft shop -The Wool & Needlecraft Centre in Oban.

A veritable treasure trove! We stock a wide range of craft supplies, gifts and our latest addition – an exclusive range of “Oban” souvenirs which are made on the premises.
Moving on to the crafts, we stock hand knitting wools, needlework kits and supplies, papercrafting goods, patchwork
fabrics, beads and haberdashery. We are all only too pleased to give advice or help you get started on any new project.
Knitting has become very fashionable and we have lots of yarns and patterns. Knitting scarves is extremely popular and
with the wonderful new fancy yarns even a beginner can produce a fashionable item quickly. We can even cast on for
you!!
Cross stitch continues to be a great hobby. We have lots of kits catering for all levels of skill and are particularly pleased with our own range of kits which we exclusively sell under the name ‘Shepherd’s Croft’. We currently have 4 celtic designs with more in the pipeline and kits of Oban, Tobermory & Iona. We are working on a splendid Highland
Cow and have many more local designs in progress.

!! Interestingly - the boat on the far left in the picture is red on the cover image - yet it is blue on the pattern !!
We will be back in Scotland again in August and I can't wait to get back to the shop to stock up - my daughter Heather insists that I sew the Highland cow next! Watch this space!!!
