Pattern of the Month for February - 2006 Sampler and Alphabet!
The border of the design is based upon the paperchain patterns that I used to cut for my children when they were younger. No key is included as only 2 colours are used. Feel free to sew this design with any colour scheme that you wish - I rather favour the delft blue colours (I used DMC 312 & 334), but it looks just as good in pistachio greens (DMC 319 & 320) or rich warm mauves (DMC 3802 & 223). Go ahead and experiment!
Alphabet included so you can personalise your design with your initials.
OOPS!! I'm afraid there was a small error on the design in the upper left corner as in the image above. Now I know all you expert stitchers out there will have spotted that straight away, but I've looked at it a hundred times and only just noticed it this evening! I have amended the chart, but anybody who printed it before 07 Feb will have got the old one! Sorry folks!
And now for the 'grumbly' bit........ you cannot pretend that you designed it, you are not free to distribute the design in any way, and you may not sell it as a pattern or in kit form...that's about it, I think.
