Instructions are for a two-fold card with a single aperture |

STEP 1 Position the aperture in the card so it is centered over the design. Push the pins through the design to mark the position of the aperture - being careful not to stick the pins through the card. |
|
STEP 2 Very carefully, remove the card from the design - try not to disturb the pins - you will need them again quite soon. Then trim away the surplus material from around the design - leave a border of approximately 1.5cms. |

STEP 3 Stick some double-sided sellotape around the aperture on the reverse side of the card and peel off the backing paper. Carefully reposition the card over the design using the pins to guide your position and gently press around the aperture |
|
STEP 4 Stick more double-sided tape around the edges of the card that folds over the back of the design. Rest the card on a frim surface for the next bit - remove the backing paper, fold the card over the design then press firmly starting from the centre and work outwards. |

And there you have your finished card. You do not have to use double-sided tape, you could use glue - (eg. PVA or Aerosol glues) but I think the nicest and least messy results can be obtained using tape. If you have a large design to mount, it is worth attaching some tape to the centre of the card that folds over the design to get a neater finish. Alternatively, use wadding behind the design to give a padded effect. |
