I really love this site. Not only because it is graphically beautiful, but because I
am always impressed when folks go out of their way to help others - just reading through the guestbook provides testimony to this.
Stitchers from all over the world can cross-stitch squares for Australian Children who have life threatening or life long illnesses. Then the squares are made up into beautiful quilts.
There is a list of children to stitch for - each child has a specific theme, and there is a target date to finish and submit your finished square. Generic squares can also be stitched which are not child specific and without a time limit.
As soon as I have sorted out a suitable design, I will be volunteering to stitch something myself!
